Designing a Smarter Web Experience for Healthcare Providers

Designing for Efficiency in Health-Tech
anni.care is a Berlin-based health-tech start-up on a mission to simplify and digitize medical workflows. By automating the complex processes around equipment rentals and appointment bookings, they help healthcare providers save time, reduce admin stress, and focus on what matters most — caring for patients. With a growing product and a unique B2B/B2C offering, anni.care needed a polished, user-focused web experience that clearly communicates value and converts interest into action.



Discovery
Joining anni.care meant stepping into a space where healthcare meets technology — and where clarity is critical. In my first weeks, I immersed myself in understanding the subscription-based calculation system at the heart of the customer experience. Working closely with product managers, I quickly aligned with the team’s vision of simplifying medical equipment services for both B2C and B2B users.
Planning the Interface
The platform’s subscription logic had multiple touchpoints with user-facing flows, so my first task was to define how this complexity could be translated into a streamlined and intuitive experience. I mapped out user flows in Figma, focusing on clarity, transparency, and guidance — ensuring that users could easily understand their subscription tiers, pricing logic, and next steps.
UI Design
With the core flows defined, I designed responsive high-fidelity screens in Figma. Drawing on anni.care’s existing brand foundations, I extended the visual language with clean, functional layouts that put usability first. Accessibility and user trust were top of mind, especially in a product so closely tied to healthcare services.
Web Implementation
Once the design was finalized, I translated it into live Webflow pages — ensuring pixel-perfect alignment between design and implementation. This direct design-to-web process helped speed up iteration and maintain visual integrity across breakpoints and screen sizes.
From Complexity to Clarity
This project was a hands-on opportunity to bridge design and development in a fast-moving health-tech environment. I contributed to a smoother user experience, brought clarity to a complex system, and helped anni.care move closer to its mission of making healthcare services more accessible, efficient, and user-friendly.
